Yesterday my host went down for several hours.

When they came up they restored from a three day old mysql dump.

But I've got Akeeba backing up my DB overnight to Amazon S3.
Downloaded backup, restored DB from it and nothing lost.

I've used akeeba to move hosts & created WAMP copies of my sites but first time I've ever needed it in anger & it didn't let me down.
