Joomla! version: Joomla! 1.7.0 Stable [ Ember ]
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.58
Host: Hostmonster - shared hosting
Akeeba Backup version: Akeeba Backup Professional 3.3.4 (2011-09-12)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue:
I updated to the professional version as per documentation guidelines. But the only Data Post processing option I have is EMail and No Post Processing. How do I activate Amazon and Drop Box options?

When upgrading from Core to Professional you must install the Professional package twice. For an unknown reason, Joomla! does not copy some of the Professional package's files the first time you install it. However, if you install the package again (without uninstalling your existing copy of Akeeba Backup) finally Joomla! copies all of the necessary files and performs the upgrade correctly.

I am having the same problem on joomla 1.5 and 1.7 sites with pro 3.6 and 3.7. I must be missing something. Where should I be able to access settings in Akeeba Back-up Pro to set-up Amazon back-ups?

user7198
PS I have already installed the akeeba pro files twice, but it did not make any apparent difference.

My mistake. I looked in the wrong place after doing the second installation. The Upload to Amazon S3 option is now available under the Data Processing Options.

Yes, it now makes sense. The first time you try the upgrade to Pro, it fails. The second time, it works. Revisiting the Configuration page now allows you to select the data processing engine and set it to Amazon S3. I have to go through JInstaller one of those days and find out why it does that... It's certainly not the intended behaviour of Joomla!'s extension installer and the double installation is a workaround, but a bothersome and crude one!
