I have made a backup of a new joomla 1.7 site and restored it at a new server.
It's all running in the frontend, but in the backend it messed up the menu creation page. And the icon for info and warning repeats from left to right every time.

Please see the attached file...

Can I do anything to fix it?

You most likely have a CSS loading error which is either due to wrong permissions (unlikely), or a problem with .htaccess or a problem with the live_site parameter in your configuration.php file. Please start by taking a look at these instructions: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/prbasicts.html Another thing you might want to do is to clear your browser's cache, delete all cookies, quit the browser and restart it. This will clear any stale CSS cache and allow it to reload the CSS of your restored site correctly.
