Description of my issue:
I am trying to install the latest jomsocial component. When I try, Akeeba first attempts to do its regular backup. But, I get a 500 error right away. Log attached...if you want a screenshot of the error, I will attach it as well.
If I just try to do a regular backup through Akeeba, it all works just fine. This is the first time I've experienced this with a component install.

I unpublished each system plugin, and none made a difference to that link in the help file.
