Hi!

I noticed in the 'Extensions' -> 'Manage' -> 'Discover' listing there is an item:

PLG_CONSOLE_AKEEBABACKUP | Site | plugin | 7.5.0.1 | 2020-12-14 | Nicholas K. Dionysopoulos | console

I have not noticed this item before. Can you tell me what this plugin is  /does and why it is showing here? Should we install this?

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Jip

Hello,

that plugin is for Joomla 4, to allow CLI interaction with Akeeba Backup. Sadly Joomla doesn't offer a way to not copy a plugin depending on its version, so you end up with an "extra" plugin even if you can't use it.

OK, thanks Davide. Should we just ignore this or use 'Install' to get rid of this discover notification? Or would that cause issues on J3?
