I had an issue of a site front end showing 404 not found error. The backend login was also not showing up. After a few hours the front end started showing up on it's own (I did nothing). A few more hours later the backend was available again. I logged in and looked thorugh the joomla site and everything looks ok. I tried to make a backup of the site and got the error:

"Cannot save factory state in storage, storage filename /home/***/public_html/***//administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup/akstorage_backend.47.dat"

I looked through the forums and only found the suggestion to reinstall Akeeba Backup. I tried and received the error:

"There was an error uploading this file to the server. Unable to find install package"   Suspecting some sort of hack I went to isithacked.com to check the site and it shows as clean.   I then used my installed Admin Tools 5.9.3 to do a file change scan and it showed a ton of Akeeba files changed with a threat score of 5000. (see attachment)   I can't make a backup and I can't re-install Akeeba. Was my site hacked or was there a programing error I need to fix?

I believe I found the issue. The server disc usage was full. An overflowing error log was deleted and now space is restored. Now the backups have room to back up.
