Please unpublish the following plugins:

  • Installer - Admin Tools Professional
  • Installer - Akeeba Backup Professional
  • Installer - Akeeba Ticket System Professional

Then try installing the new versions of our extensions (8.0.2 and 6.0.2). It should now work.

Please let me know if that works for you.

I’ve disabled plugins:

  • Installer - Admin Tools Professional
  • Installer - Akeeba Backup Professional

Now when I update I get the following errors/warnings

You have come across a known Joomla bug in its extensions updater. I have documented the workaround here: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/update.html#dlid-change-after-update.

The easiest way to fix that is to download the ZIP file of the new version and install it on your site using Extensions, Install, Update & Install. Please note that you MUST NOT uninstall Admin Tools before installing the update.

After the installation is complete go to Admin Tools, Options.

Remove your Download ID and click on Save & Close.

Click on Options again.

Enter your Download ID and click on Save & Close.

This will have Admin Tools update Joomla's #__update_sites with your Download ID.
