I've tried restoring my WP site using both Kickstarter 4.1.2 Pro and Core for several weeks now. Each time i try and restore my site to my MAMP development server the Clean Up button doesn't work, I just click it and nothing happens. Using Google chrome developer tools I looked to see If I was getting any errors and this is what came up:

Hello Matthew,

most likely you have an .htaccess file that prevents Kickstart from running.
When we start the restoration such .htaccess file is renamed to to htaccess.old and when we complete it is renamed back to .htaccess, thus "activating" it and blocking the following request to clean up.
In such cases you have to manually perform the clean up.
