I am trying to schedule automatic backups using a cron job, but although I had this working smoothly on the same host with the free version, I can't seem to get the pro version to work. The brief attached log shows "'Could not decrypt settings. Your server does not support settings encryption or the encryption key file has been modified or deleted."
My initial thought was that the encryption key file used by Akeeba to encrypt the settings has somehow got corrupted but the web interface can access the settings and so I presume not.
- Should I remove the plugin and reinstall?
- Is it possible that some database tables created by the free version have not been overwritten and they are causing this problem? Should I delete all Akeeba tables and reinstall plugin?
I can run backups from the plugin control panel in Wordpress which run successfully and get uploaded to S3 and I have restored a backup using kickstart*.
[Note: This is may be a related problem - I had an error in the last stage ("Replace Data") of the web panel initiated restoration process - I'll log a ticket this separately - This resulted in a corrupt wordpress installation.]
I look forward to any light that you can shed on this or even better a solution.
Kind regards
Colin
