At Site Transfer i get the message
Could not connect to the remote FTP server.

With this message i can not do anything. Please can you write the response code from the ftp-server, so that i can find out what is happened?

I'm shure that the connection settings are correct.

thank you

Hello,

we are printing the error we receive back from PHP and the remote server.
If you are 100% sure that connection details are correct, this means that there is a connection issue between your current server and the new server.
First of all, please try both FTP and FTP with cURL methods, with Passive mode and Passive mode workaround checked (when available).
If that's not possible, it means that the connection is truly blocked.
In such cases, it's far faster to do that in the manual way: download the files and the upload them all manually using FTP.

If your backup is very large and you have an Amazon S3 account, you can configure Akeeba Backup to upload your backup to S3, then use Kickstart Pro to download them back in the new server.
