After successfully installing the plugin, I went to attempt to run a Configuration Wizard. Once I clicked the 'Configuration Wizard' button, it went straight to an Error 404 page.

Not getting anywhere with that, I attempted to run a backup and received this error:
AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 404 (Not Found)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
(HTML containing script tags)

I even attempted to run the 3.x beta, which resulted in the same problem.

Assuming this is a hosting setup issue, is my only option to update the PHP/MySQL(i) versions and try again? Or are we talking about a plugin conflict elsewhere? Or a memory issue?

Hello,

can you please attach the log of the failed backup? So I can review what's going on.
