When using the variable [REMOTESTATUS] in the subject in the e-mail template it fails to load value of the state of the backup. When using this variable in the body of the email it loads fine.

Other variables in the subject just loads fine like [HOST[ and [DATE]

The subject I use is the following: Status back-up [HOST] ([DATE]): [REMOTESTATUS]

What goes wrong?

This variable is only available for the body of the message. It's not part of the standard variable, it's an extra one explicitly added in the body of the message.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for your quick reply! Clear answer and while I prefer to see this variable also available in the subject I will move the state variable up in the body to let me do quick scan of the state in the body.

Maybe this could be a feature request?

Thanks anyway for your support!

Off the top of my head I am inclined to say that it should be possible. If it's possible I will add it in the next release; I've added a to-do item already.
