WordPress is updated to 6.8.2 as well as PHP is 8.4.11. Downloaded 9.0.5 version of Akeeba Backup Professional for WordPress.
However, it displays this:
Warning!
There is a new version available, but it requires a different version of PHP or WordPress than the one you have. As a result it will not be installed.
Any ideas why it throws this warning on the most recent version of Akeeba?
This is an issue with WordPress itself and how it handles update data. I will be publishing version 9.0.6 this week which does away with the PHP and WordPress version checks, thus preventing WordPress from showing the wrong update information.
