Hi, 

 

I have configured post processing to upload to Google Team Drive and it was working all the while until I update to 7.2.0.

 

The Team Drive option is suddenly unavailable.

 

Please fix it.

the Drive option gets populated once you complete the Authentication step. Can you please complete it and check it again?

I authenticated Google Drive again but the Team Drive is still not showing.

By the way, I just updated to version 7.2.1 hoping that the issue is fixed... but it's not.

There has been no change in 7.2 with regards to our Google Drive integration. We haven't worked on this feature since December 4th, 2019 – this change predates version 7.0. The JavaScript code that populates the list of drives has not changed since March, before version 7.1 was released in May. There is no reason for something that we haven't touched between 7.1 and 7.2 spontaneously breaking.

Either Google changed their API drastically without updating their documentation or sending an advance warning or the user you are authenticating with does not have adequate privileges to list the team drive. The former is unlikely; we've received a warning in April about a change in the folder structure which will be applicable on September 30th. Can you please double check that your user has adequate privileges to list all team drives and access the specific team drive? If you are sure you have the correct access I will have to make this ticket private and ask you for your connection information since this would be something we can not troubleshoot without direct access to the affected resources.

Yes, I read the version release note there is no mention of changes related Post Processing.

That's why I am surprised why it got affected.

 

To verify the issue, I deleted Akeeba Solo 7.2.0.1 and setup old version 7.1.4.2 again.

 

Google Team Drive appears under my account (as attached image).

 

Then I updated it to latest version 7.2.0.1 through the update button and the Team drive is gone.

For now, I think it's better for me to use the old version.

 

Akeeba makes amazing products which I love.

I am sincerely trying to report an issue and hoping that it will be fix in future version.

I do not have any access to team drives so I can only do very limited troubleshooting. I have checked that both versions communicate with the Google Drive API and return the same information. However, since I do not have any team drives, the "same information" means that I'm receiving an empty list of drives without an error code as things should be. If you believe there is a difference in behavior between 7.1 and 7.2 is it possible to temporarily give me access to your account so I can see what information the API returns which would allow me to further investigate? If you decline all I can tell you is that I made no change and I see no difference in behavior so there's nothing I can fix because nothing looks broken.
