I have a web site (joomla) which contains within it several more joomla web sites - all these have Akeeba backup for Joomla installed. I have in addition two more separate web site installations which are based on Zenphoto - it is for these Zenphoto web sites that I wish to use Akeeba solo.

Questions: Do I install Solo on each of those Zenphoto sites or will one installation do?

If one installation is sufficient, does it matter where it is installed?

Thank you,

Richard

Hello,

yes, you can do something like that, but it's an advanced feature. You will have to create a profile for each site you want to backup. Then in the Configuration, you have to change the settings and manually set the Site Root and Database connection info.

In this way you will force Akeeba Solo to use those settings, basically switching the site you are working on.

I'd suggest you to install Akeeba Solo in the topmost folder, so you can easily access everything under it.
