Hello,

yes, Akeeba Solo will backup all the contents of the database and the files that are inside your site. Since there isn't an optimized configuration, Akeeba Solo might backup some files that are not strictly necessary (ie temporary files or cached data), but that shouldn't be a problem since it will only inflate your backup size.

When you restore your backup, however, you will have to manually reconfigure the site, usually by manually updating the configuration file with new database details. Usually there are clear instructions on how to do that, simply search "Move photo.gallery to another host" or something like that.
