Hello,

I am trying long time already to solve the problems when trying to install Akeeba Solo. It stucks in the session path.

I talked to my provider and he configured the session path writeable, Akeeba keeps messaging, that it is not writeable.
The session path on my server is /var/lib/php/session and it states, that this is "Standard" (default).

I really would like to use Akeeba Solo and appreciate help for my problem.

So far I am using the free version, but in case, I could get it to work, I wll buy a subscription.

Regards, Stefan

Hello,

most likely this is a permissions issue: your PHP user has no permissions for writing on such path. You can, however, apply a workaround for this issue; please take a look here, section "The unwritable session path": https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-solo/installation-updates-upgrades.html#installing
