EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

The website http://graves.eggsa.org/gauteng/ is a Zenphoto based site.

I have just done a backup which consisted of a .jpa file and 31 .j-- files - .j01 to .j31

Backup stopped, saying it had encountered a problem and had stopped loading files to Amazon s3

So I logged into S3 to check what still needed uploading.

The needed files are still on the website under Solo/backup/

Do I need to download them first before I can upload them to S3 bucket?

Thank you,

Richard Ball

Log into Solo, go into the Manage Backups page, and there should be a button to transfer the backup archives to Amazon S3. Click on it and it will resume the uploads.

Thank you - I did what you suggest but could find no button to transfer files.

I think the problem is that Akeeba Solo thought (as it stated in 'Remotely stored files management' which listed all the files as uploaded') that it had uploaded all the 31 files to  Amazon S3  but it had, in fact, not done so.

I gave up and downloaded the 23 2GB files which were still in the website container and then uploaded them to Amazon S3.

The only indication I had that the backup was not completely transferred was the software message at the end of the process saying that there had been a problem.

All OK for now, but not the first time this has happened.

Many thanks for some wonderful and extremely useful software,

Richard Ball
