I have noticed that a new version of ATS is now available. I looked at the changelog and didn't see a bug fix for the "Ticket Buckets" error I had previously submitted.

Does the new release include the fix that is in the dev version I currently have installed? (See attachment for specific version)

Also, I was curious if any of the Akeeba products install MooTools? I have been experiencing some odd behaviors after the recent upgrade to ATS 4.x and thought there might be some correlation. I have had some MooTools and Bootstrap conflicts that have popped up recently.

Thanks as always for your support.

Akeeba Staff

Do not install the published Akeeba Ticket System version, it's still version 4.0.1 which has the problem you reported. We gave you a developer's release because we are not going to release version 4.0.2 just yet — the only change we'd be publishing would be the Buckets list which is a feature rarely used.

We have not used mooTools in our software since 2012. There is no such conflict with our software.

Regarding styling. Akeeba Ticket System uses Akeeba FEF —our CSS and JavaScript framework— which takes over the styling only inside the DIV that has either a class or id "akeeba-renderer-fef". We do a CSS reset only for the elements inside this DIV. We do not touch the styling outside of that DIV. Therefore any Bootstrap styling issues you have outside of that DIV come from elsewhere. Please note that we do not offer support for CSS customisation in the frontend.

Thank you for the clarifications! Very helpful.

I appreciate the detailed response and will keep an eye out for the 4.0.2 release.

Interestingly, for us Ticket Buckets will be a helpful feature.

Understood regarding CSS customization on the front-end.

I will close my case.

Much appreciation for the support!
