Determine exactly how ATS identifies the ticket submitter. Does it use: From Reply-To Sender Return-Path

It's always Sender, of course. It's the one address field that all protections (e.g. SPF, DKIM, DMARC) are there to guarantee is legitimate.

The Reply-To field is free text; I can have my Reply-To to be your address, nobody will stop me. If I allowed that to set the ticket owner, spoofing tickets would be trivial.

The Return-Path is explicitly for bounced emails. It would be nonsensical using this to determine provenance...

That's what I thought, but I wanted to double check. I'm using SMTP2GO for my smtp, and it requires that the sender be an email ending in the sending domain. Of course, that just opens a ticket under MY name - which I don't want. (This is for processing a form on my own website for a new customer). Thanks for the confirmation. I'll find another way to do this. I am liking the product.

If you are sending the email, how do your clients end up sending you the message? I am feeling a bit confused here by what you're trying to do.

I'm using RS Forms. But I found the fields and field groups in ATS, which does exactly what I need.

That's very much what I expected to be the case, and the solution I would have proposed :)
