For quite some time now (a couple of years), I run Remote CLI from my Synology NAS to create backups of my client's websites on a daily basis. Currently there are 23 websites, hosted on three different servers. Backups of two of the websites get transferred to Amazon. The others get downloaded to my Synology NAS using ftp.
Until a few weeks ago, this worked perfectly fine for all websites. In retrospect, I think it was until the J! 3.4.5 update, at which time I also updated some extensions, including Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools. I did that for the majority of the websites. It's from that moment that backup of one website fails each and every time. It fails with the message
Error #22: Communications error; please check the host name and your network status
Except for this one website, all backup run perfectly fine. It doesn't matter if the job runs as part of the daily cron job or if I start it manually as a single job. I get that same error message every time.
Do you have any suggestions to investigate and solve the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
