hello,
im using your "cms update" on many of my joomla sites.. i installed them just month ago when there was major fix issue.. so it have to be all the same version.. now the new joomla version came out, and i get notification emails with one click login link.. its a great feature.

but the issue is, that i get this notifications only from few of the sites..

for example i got two joomla 3.4.5 sites.. with "cms update" installed.. one send notification, and second dont.. i try to find any difference but i cant find any.. cms system plugin is enabled on both..

i also read your docs about this component but cant find answer..
i see there can be cache issue, but its already few days when new joomla version release, but notifications dont came..

did you know any settings that can make a difference???

thank you a lot

Did you see the update being available in CMS Update? If the update was available please check that you have published CMS Update's system plugin which sends out the emails and that your site can send out emails (use the Messages feature to send test emails). Also remember that you need quite a few page loads (at least 10) before an email is sent.

If you do not see the updates at all please try using the force reload button in CMS Update. If it doesn't see the updates you have to edit its configuration and choose to receive updates from all update sources. If it's already so, there's a server firewall preventing your site from receiving update information.

If, however, force reloading the updates did work then your problem is simply that either you didn't publish the system plugin I mentioned above or your site didn't receive enough visits for CMS Update to end up checking for Joomla! updates.

hi,
thank you for your fast reply.

- "System - CMS Update Email" plugin was/is enabled
- when i create new user i get email notification - so emails works. also there should be all fine on hosting side..
- at the backend i see 2 update messages. one from joomla and one from cms update
so i thought it must be the lack of page loads.. so i did some browse on the page, but i still dont get the notification.

did you have any more ideas?? or i can send you admin login to one of the sites where i dont get this notifications.. if it helps..

thanks again

Either lack of page loads or the email landed in your spam.
