Hi,

In your news article about discontinuing CMS Update you mentioned that it will be integrated to a future version of Joomla. Is there a way for me to track when this is likely to be? It's something we like to use on all our sites

Also, will all the features of it be integrated? Crucially we like to use cron jobs to schedule updates and use a Custom Source.

Thanks very much for your work on it. It's great and having it integrated will be brilliant.

Hello Tim,

part of them are already included inside version 3.5.1, the rest of CMS Update features were already accepted and they will be included inside version 3.5.2 of Joomla.
This means that, as soon as version 3.5.2 of Joomla is released, CMS Update will be completely redundant.
