I have tried several times to use JoomPack with kickstart....both with zip and jpa archives. Each time kickstart progresses straight to the screen which is supposed to show after the unpacking and the installation/index.php comes up with a page not found message. When I go look in the directory it shows an installation folder, with a language, sql and template subfolders, but no index.php or any other unpacked files or folders.
I really need to use kickstart because everytime i try a manual ftp it would seem some files don\'t transfer because of timeouts or some other issue. Also, my ftp account doesn\'t transfer .png files well, and I would have to go back and do all that manually.
Right now this is just a trial for me because my plan is to package and resell my site but the site I am backing up and restoring is not live. The url for the test is http://mijohari.com and I have the kickstart and jpa file currently residing there in the root.
Can you help please? What might I be missing? Why would the kickstart not progress through the unpacking and give me the page which would make it seem completed?
