Hi,
I was a noob when I installed joomla about a year ago. By accident, I installed Joomla as mydomain.com/joomla/ instead of directly mydomain.com/

My site built up on it and I just accepted that there is nothing that can be done about it. But I found hope now that I've discovered JoomlaPack. :)

Is it possible to:
1) kinda "move" my site from "mydomain.com/joomla" to "mydomain.com/"? OR
2) Rename "joomla" folder to something else so that at least there is less security issue.

You can take a backup of your live site (the joomla directory) and restore it on your site's root. The only thing that might need manual adjustement is your .htaccess file (if you have any), the mod_rewrite configuration part towards the top in particular.

It's also suggested - after the move - to keep your "joomla" directory empty, except for a .htaccess file which forwards all traffic to the main site, so as not to loose potential visitors scared away by 404 messages ;)
