I have installed JoomlaPack Remote 2.14.24 and updated to the latest xmlrpc plugin. I am able to perform a successful backup and download but after the download the remote file is not deleted. The JoomlaPack Remote log reports:
Backup deletion failed: site-www.tix2kids.org-20090902-132815.zip: Operation not permitted
Now I know that this is a permissions issue. All Joomla files and directories are currently owned by 'apache' with files being 644 and directories 755. JoomlaPack remote uses the FTP account in order to download which of course is a different user/group than 'apache'. Now I do have mod_suphp installed and I guess I could enable it on this domain in order to have all files/folders owned by the FTP user, but mod_suphp comes with significant overhead. Is there any other way around this?
