Hi,

I haven't been able to backup my site lately. After waiting for the back up process for a while I get a "prompt" on the progress screen asking for my Username, password, language choice & Login. It seems I getting timed out.

Do I wait it out? reconfigure settings?

Pls. guide

Thanks,

Newbie

Please view, download, zip and post your backup log. That will give additional information about what is happening.

Just upgraded to latest version and i get the same login query mid backup. I am on a freehost site so i cannot exclude some setting being out of whack but here is a log for you.. JoomlaPack_Debug_Log-20091229.txt

It was backing up Joomla! core files when it stopped, so it shouldn't be a large file or large folder issue. Does your free host impose a file size limit on the files a script can create? If so, we need to go to a mulit-part archive. Set the part size field on the Advanced pane of the JoomlaPack Configuration screen to an amount just below your file size limit (in bytes).
