Dear support team,

I beg you for help.

I want to install a two-step authentication system on my website. I chose your great Login Guard plug-in.

Everything works great, but when a new client logs in to the site for the first time after registration, the system gives him the opportunity to use two factors to verify the login.

I want to ask if it is possible to set the extension so that two-factor authentication is mandatory.

Thanks a lot,

Akeeba Staff

Yes, it is.

Components, Akeeba LoginGuard, Options.

Find the Force TSV for these User Groups.

Select the user groups which must always use Two Step Verification. On a typical Joomla site you can select Registered, Manager and Super Users  to force everybody to enable Two Step Verification.

Click on Save & Close.

Your users will be able to log into the site BUT they won't be able to do anything except enable Two Step Verification. Once they do that they will be able to use the site. Next time they log in they will have to go through Two Step Verification to continue using the site. I understand that's what you want.
