I love your product. It has simplified my backup procedures immensely. However, I am having a problem with the download portion. It keeps failing with an FTP transport error. I have verified that my connection is configured properly by using the test connection. I see that empty files are being created on the server. When I looked at the logfile, I saw an error message about the file being in use by another process. I then went and increased the download delay time to 70 seconds. It did not help. Any assistance you could be is greatly appreciated.

My logfile is below:
[02/09 12:53:31] Creating new download thread
[02/09 12:53:31] Initializing FTP download from site definition
[02/09 12:53:31] FTP Server / Port localhost / 21
[02/09 12:53:31] Using FTP Passive mode
[02/09 12:53:31] Keep Alive is enabled; NOOP will be sent every 10 seconds.

[02/09 12:53:31] Running download thread

Win32 error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Error details: File system returned an error.
End

[02/09 12:54:43] Download failed: FTP transport error:

Thank you.

Most ftp servers don't like the forced passive mode or the keep alive setting. Please uncheck both and try again. :)

I had my actives and passives mixed up. :( The keep alive can cause problems though. Something is holding the file open in this case. Usually 30 seconds is enough on the delay setting. I'll flag this for Nicholas to look at.

Hi,
I figured this out. My path FTP path to the output directory was incorrect. Thanks for all of your help.
