Good Morning,
I have two questions that seem to be related and i would appreciate the help. I have bin backing up my site with the JoomlaPack and am upgrading to the AkeebaBackup 3.1.5 (stable) and installed Akeeba Remote Control. (I had the same set up for the old backup system) But the thing that i am wondering is that the old backups where around 500mb and i could download using the JoomlaPack with out any problems but the AkeebaBackups are around 900mb start to download but then quite after a will. It gives me a FTP error. I keep braking it into small chunks to get it to download I'm trying to do it with 150mb chunks right know. so the first question is why did the size change so much? and the second one is making it smaller and smaller sizes the best way to try and fixes this? I will post the error as soon as i get it being a big site it will take a will before it errors out.
Thank You,
Justin

Akeeba Backup doesn't know about JoomlaPack's configuration. As a result, Akeeba Backup doesn't know where JoomlaPack was storing its backup archives, effectively backing up JoomlaPack's backups. There are two alternative workarounds:

a. Exclude JoomlaPack's output directory from inside the "Files and Directories Exclusion" feature of Akeeba Backup, or

b. Uninstall JoomlaPack and, if necessary, completely delete JoomlaPack's output directory
