Hi,

With the recent release of Joomla 1.6, it looks as if they've effectively removed xmlrpc (from what I've read) and therefore I'm assuming that the remote control won't work as-is?

Naturally, Akeeba Backup Core works perfectly, when run from the console.

Regards,
LeClerc.

Please read the release notes of Akeeba Backup 3.2.b4 and Remote Control 4.0.3. As you can see, this combination is already compatible with Joomla! 1.6.0.

Now, as it happens, I thought "I'll go and look at the beta remote control" and found exactly the answer!!

Unfortunately, you'd posted before I had a chance to delete it! Boy, you're fast! :)

Apologies.

I get a quick preview of outstanding support questions and I answer the quick ones first when I'm taking short breaks from writing code :)
