I have AkeebaBackup and the Remote plugin installed and configured on a Joomla 1.6.1 install. How do I enable Web Services in 1.6? I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Is it included as part of 1.6?

You can not use Akeeba Remote Control 2.5 on Joomla! 1.6.x because this version of Joomla! does not include an XML-RPC server. You have to use Akeeba Remote Control 4.
