I installed the remote control V 4.0.7 and is working great on 3 of my sites however, there are two sites which are still under development that are having trouble.
This two sites are offline and the akeeba backup module is backing up the sites without issues.
One of this sites is on a subdomain and after configuring the backup which was configure to run monthly the initial backup starts and downloads the backup as requested however, the backup runs again and again and again and it will not stop. I say about 8 backups in a period of 10 to 15 minutes.
The other problem is that the other site which is under a directory for the time being (http://www.mysite.com/subdirectory) I was not able to configure this backup if I use the URL with the subdomain. Im not sure what im doing wrong.

Please help thank you very much in advanced.

Remote Control does not (and can not) work properly with sites which are off-line. Your site needs to be on-line for the JSON API, used by Remote Control, to function correctly.

Perfect thank you for your prompt response. One thing that I noticed is that after configuring the backups they wont stop backing up. They keep backing up over and over again in a loop. In a period of 5 minutes I say 10 different backups. Any input on this?

That issue should have been fixed in Akeeba Backup 3.2.6 and later. Have you upgraded to Akeeba Backup 3.2.7? If not, you should, as it's a security release.

That said, we'll be publishing a new ARC version today with improved stability and better performance. Stay tuned!
