Hi,

I followed all the instructions before installing Remote Control. After installing, it asked me to restart my computer. I did, and as soon as it finished restarting, I opened Remote Control, and it tried to install the runtime client. It gave me an error message saying "Installation Failed Could not determine content length." I am running on Windows Server 2008 with the latest Akeeba Remote Control (for Windows) and Backup installed (on Joomla 1.5). I am not sure where to find the log file that is necessary to attach in this forum.

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Rachel

That's a known issue with the Titanium Runtime that we're using to create the application. We're not developing this runtime and the fix is, unfortunately, beyond us. You will have to either use a different version of Windows (XP or 7, Vista won't work either) or wait until I figure out a way to create a cross platform remote backup client not based on Titanium Desktop :(
