#42639 Feature Request for Onthos: Author filter

Dear akeeba developers,

I really like your new extension Onthos and appreaciate the moderate pricing. I would like to suggest a feature for Onthos I am missing in the default Joomla extensions manager, if possible.

I would like to be able to filter by author. Often when debugging websites I find multiple packages or extensions by the same author or I am not able to associate the package name with the developer. Disabling all extensions on a per author basis helps me identify issues with third party extensions faster than disabling packages ony by one. 

This is really low priority, though. Thanks for considering and have a nice day.

Sounds reasonable. Go to https://www.akeeba.com/download/onthos-dev/1-0-3-dev202601160957-revd60d409.html and install this dev release. You will now be able to type something like author:akeeba in Onthos' search box to search by author.

That said, here are some other navigation modes I have already implemented.

When you click on an extension it tells you which package it belongs to. Click on its "List all extensions in package" to show the list of extensions filtered by this package. You can manually do that expanding the filter options and choosing the package.

If you are inside a package check all the way down to see if there are "orphaned" extensions which should belong to the package and adopt them.

Also when showing the package's page you will find a list of all extensions in the package, with links that take you to the individual extension in Onthos.
