Hello,

You can use our plugin and Joomla!'s built-in Two Factor Authentication with YubiKey Standard, Nano, Edge, Edge-N, Neo and Neo-N. These plugins require the "one time password" feature available in these YubiKeys.

If you are going to use our U2F plugin you need to buy a YubiKey Edge, Edge-N, Neo, Neo-N or FIDO U2F Special Security Key. The U2F (Universal Second Factor) plugin works with the FIDO U2F feature of these keys.

Your safest bet:
- If you only want to use YubiKey with desktops, laptops or iOS devices buy a YubiKey Edge.
- If you want to use YubiKey with Android buy a YubiKey Neo

I am using a YubiKey Neo as my main authentication device and have a couple of YubiKey Standard units set up as my backup authentication devices.
