 Hi,

We are trying to install Akeeba backup version com_akeeba-4.4.3-pro.zip.Currently using php version 5.3.29 and Joomla version 3.4.5 while during installation of component producing error to upgrade php version.So our query is any version of component available which supports our 5.3.29 and joomla 3.4.5.

is if we upgrade our php version then any issue will occurred and any functionality may stop or impact on other functionality.



Please help the same.

As you can see in our compatibility page you should use Akeeba Backup 4.2.4.

Keep in mind that old versions of Akeeba Backup do NOT receive bug fixes or feature updates. They are only provided as a temporary convenience measure until you can update your server to a newer version of PHP.

Please do ask your host to update your PHP version to 5.5 as soon as possible. PHP 5.3 is end of life for over a year. It is already considered insecure and unfit for use on production sites.
