 Hi

Is it possible to take a backup and use kickstart for a Magento site?

Hello Grith,

Yes, it is possible, using our Akeeba Solo product.

Akeeba Solo is a standalone PHP application that's installed in a subdirectory or subdomain of your Magento site. It works just like Akeeba Backup: it can take and restore backups of your Magento site. The backups can be restored on any server using Kickstart or Akeeba eXtract Wizard just like Akeeba Backup archives.

Akeeba Solo fully supports many different CMS and PHP scripts including Joomla!, Drupal, WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop, phpBB, Moodle and Mautic. You can download and use the free of charge Akeeba Solo Core version. If you need the advanced features (most importantly: cloud storage) you can purchase a subscription to Akeeba Solo Professional. Since you are already an Akeeba Backup subscriber you'll get an automatic 40% discount.
