Our software is compatible with PHP 7 since July 2015. We have been testing all that time against the staging branch of Joomla! which contained the PHP 7 compatibility patch since early June 2015.

Since Joomla! 3.5 is NOT released yet our compatibility page is, of course, not updated to include it. This prevents unnecessary questions about where to download Joomla! 3.5 (you can't, it's currently in beta, not for use on live sites).

FWIW we are looking forward to the release of Joomla! 3.5 so we can use PHP 7 on our own site. PHP 7 is dramatically faster than PHP 5.6. In our tests we've seen a site backing up fully in 10 seconds (as opposed to 15 seconds under PHP 5.6), the biggest bottleneck being dumping the MySQL data. Yeah, PHP 7 is that fast!
