Hi there,

After installing Akeeba Data Compliance and trying it out, I want to uninstall the package. Unfortunately I got the error

"Package unistall: Missing Manifest file"

I reinstalled the package, but got the same error.

It is on a Joomla 4 website, and the version of Akeeba Data Compliance is 2.0.3

(I know this is not the right category for my question, but I found this the most suitable.)

Kind regards,
peter

Hello,

thank you very much for the report; there is indeed a bug.

It seems there's a name mismatch between the internal name saved by Joomla (compliance) and the manifest file we ship (pkg_datacompliance).

Since you're uninstalling the extension, the fix is rather simple: get inside the folder administrator/manifests/packages and rename the file pkg_datacompliance to pkg_compliance

Then you should be able to uninstall it.
