I've used Akeeba both free and sometimes paid by clients since Joomla 1.6 - love it!!! However I've just (finally) upgraded from MacOS Sierra to Ventura and found that Akeeba Extract Wizard isn't compatible. Is there a replacement or alternative??? As a web developer it's highly useful for me to download an archive, extract it, then use BBEdit to find the pieces I need to edit.

We discontinued Akeeba eXtract Wizard six years ago, in 2017.

You can extract backup archives using Akeeba Kickstart.

You can run Akeeba Kickstart locally using a prepackaged local web server such as MAMP, XAMPP, IndigoStack etc.
