#40027 Joomla Site Migration from One domain to another.

We used the free version of Akeba to migrate our website from one domain to another. After backing up from the old site's backend, we downloaded your kickstart module to restore the compressed file to the new domain. The operation was not successful, probably due to environmental compatibility problems.

The old site is joomla version 3.10.12 and php 7.3.33, the new domain has php version 8.1.2. Let's imagine that there are compatibility problems, can they be overcome with the pro version of akeeba?
We intend to buy it. Have you any suggestion on how to procede in this situation?

The site transfer does not use any features which are specific to the Professional version. It is a simple case of restoring a backup.

If you could elaborate on the problems you have, and at which stage (e.g. extracting the archive, starting the database restoration, during the database restoration, etc) I could help you.
