To reproduce the problem:

  1. Open https://yoursite.com/kickstart.php
  2. Change Write to files to Directly. Most of part 2 is hidden dynamically.
  3. Reload the page. Write to files is still set to Directly (good!), but the fields are shown again (bug!).

Hello,

thank you very much for the report.

Kickstart does not store those info between page refreshes, but your browser does. This means that when you refresh the page, those values are "magically" selected, and our Javascript (that updates everything) didn't have a catch the change, this is why you have only half fields updated.

There's little we can do, the best thing is to be aware of the behavior

The JavaScript could catch the "change" on reload and re-hide the fields...

The thing is that the browser does not fire any "change" event, this is why we can't intercept it.
