At its core, an OpenGraph image is defined by its dimensions, Width and Height. They are measured in pixels.
The recommended size for each platform is different depending on where the image is used. That said, a size of 1200 by 640 pixels is a good size and the correct aspect ration for most if not all use cases. That's why it is set as the default for built-in and new templates.
