Hello,

in the past there were always problems with the automatic updates.

As an explanation, we use Plesk with the Joomla Toolkit, which sometimes fails at the updates. Since the updates, after a call of the component in the backend, could be performed again, we suspected the error in the Plesk addon.

But the current problem is not due to this, because now it shows that in the management interface of my download IDs is a completely different main ID than we have been using for years.

I would like to avoid having to rework hundreds of pages. How do I get my old download ID to work again?

Greetings

No, we do not change the Download IDs. The Download IDs remain as the are unless you change them (there’s the refresh button next to each one in the Add-on Download IDs page). Most likely you accidentally did exactly that without realizing.

You cannot manually change the Download ID or revert it to a previous value. Values used in the past are “burnt”.

Since you’re going to be re–entering Download IDs anyway, you can create one Download ID per site you manage in the Add–on Download IDs page. This way if you accidentally change a Download ID it will only affect one site instead of all sites you manage.
