I am a non specialist user of Joomla and developed the site of my own company.  On the advice of my supporting Master, Marc Dechèvre, I downloaded the free version of akeeba backup since a long time.

Recently I migrated from 3.10 to 4 and faced severe issues: no access to the front end and limited access to the administrator.  Since my master did not have the time to digg into those, we decided to step back to 3.10.11.

Marc advised me to use the free kickstart.php.  I did. In the first attempt, I did not clean all files before proceeding.  I restored the front end but could not access the modules, plugins... in the administrator.

I then found a public ticket from you https://www.akeeba.com/support/site-restoration/37072-problems-after-restoring-from-joomla-4-1-to-3-10.html explaining how to address my problems.

It took me few test to understand the back-up was .jpa extension and to succeed retrieving all.

In summary your tools and services came three times in a row, akeeba back-up, kickstart and ticket to help retrieve my work and keep concentrate on my business.

This deserves recognition, appreciation and many thanks.  So I decided to subscribe to the essentials for joomla.  After all, the toughtful  recognition is to support your business.
