When I try to update Akeeba Backup Pro from 9.3.3 to 9.6.2, I get:

Joomla\CMS\Filesystem\Folder::delete: Path is not a folder. Path: [ROOT]/administrator/components/com_akeebabackup/layouts JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'access' Extension installation aborted. Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: com_akeebabackup-pro.zip Before updating ensure that the update is compatible with your Joomla! installation.
You are strongly advised to make a backup of your site's files and database before you start updating.

Hello,

I think you have a broken installation of Akeeba Backup. My suggestion is to uninstall it and then install it again. If you have several profiles or with a particular configuration, you can export them, uninstall, install again and the import those profiles again.

Ok, sorry it took me awhile to get back to this.

I did what you said, exported the profile, uninstalled Akeeba, reinstalled the new version, imported the profile.

All seemed to work fine, except that I now have 2 Default Profiles, and it won't let me delete the old one (ID:1). It says "Delete not permitted."

How can I get rid of it so that it will use the imported profile?

Thanks,

Matt

Hello,

to avoid issues, you can never delete the profile marked with ID 1.

You can renamed the second profile to avoid issues, then copy the settings to the ID 1 profile and finally delete the extra profile.
