EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

In preparation for update to Joomla 4 from Joomla 3.10, the Joomla pre-check utility that the Akeeba Backup Package needs to be updated, along with file_fef and file_fof40. Current versions are 8.3.3, 2.1.1 and 4.1.4 respectively. Please see attachment. The pre-update check says that all three items are compatible with Joomla 4.3.4 as well as Joomla 3.10.12

I cannot see where there might be newer versions of these files. Can I ignore the warning?

I have run the magiceraser utility

Kind regards

Miles

Hello,

yes, you can ignore the warning. Please take a look at this page of the docs for all the steps required to successfully update to Joomla 4: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-joomla/migrate-j3-to-j4.html
