Hello, I would like to know, if there is a chance to exclude folders from the backup?
On one site there are many pdf downloads with big files and I do not want to have then in every backup.
Greetings from Germany.

Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

Of course you can. For a quick overview, we have a video tutorial about it: https://www.akeeba.com/videos/1212-akeeba-backup/1621-abtc07-excluding-large-files.html
If you prefer reading instead of watching a video, the full documentation of the features to exclude files can be found at https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-joomla/exclude-data-from-backup.html#files-and-directories-exclusion and https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-joomla/regex-files-directories-exclusion.html.
