Hallo,
wie überprüft der Site Transfer Wizard die Verbindung URI und Ordner?
Folgendes Beispiel:

URL: https:\\xx.tld.de
Ordner: /public_folder/foo/bar
FTP User 1:
root: /public_folder
To website: /public_folder/foo/bar
php : var/xxx/xxx/public_folder/foo/bar

FTP User 2:
root: /public_folder/foo/bar
To Website: /
php : var/xxx/xxx/public_folder/foo/bar

a: Is it therefore necessary to use the power user for a site transfer?

b: Is there a way, possibly by a checkbox, that the Site Transfer Wizard supports both possibilities?

Kind Regards
Thomas

Hello,

with "power user" you mean the Super User on the original website? By default, yes, but you can tweak the permissions inside Akeeba Backup component, to provide the permissions to other user groups as well.

Regarding the second question, to be honest, I'm missing something, can you explain a little further? Please remember that the Site Transfer Wizard simply uploads the archives to the remote location and then opens your browser to the Kickstart file. So it will support several configurations, you simply have to provide all the details.
